The YODELER somehow crams a delay and reverb into one compact box, with independent mix level controls for each. Not only that, but an internal switch lets you choose if the reverb is in series (reverberates each delay repeat) or parallel and independent from the delay. This lets you use the Yodeler as a standard delay or reverb, as a reverberating delay, or as a reverb with infinite trails & pre-delay control.

TrueSoft  Bypass

Low Noise Op Amp

DualMode Switching

We combine durable true bypass relay switching with an effect-side FET switch for pure and smooth switching.

A modern, high-speed op amp was chosen for its low-noise and high-fidelity properties.

A simple voltage inverter circuit was used to effectively turn 9V into 18V. More voltage means more headroom & bigger tone.

DualMode Switching can convert the footswitch into momentary operation.

To use, wait 5 seconds, then press the sequence tap+tap+hold until LED flashes.

USA Made PCBs

Our circuit boards are made in the USA by Advanced Circuits (large PCB runs) or OSH Park (small PCB runs).

Analog Dry Path

100% analog circuitry was employed in the dry signal path. Your tone is preserved, with zero digital harshness.

HOW THE SPRINGBOARD CAME TO BE

THE STORY

My experiments with the Springboard design led me to wonder what sonic landscapes could be created if you just had control over the delay time within the BTDR-3H brick.

 

The only problem was that the brick was huge, and a delay takes a lot of space...I had to fill every conceivable nook & cranny in the circuit board to fit all the circuitry needed to put a delay and reverb inside our compact pedals.

The Yodeler was everything I expected and more. You can set it up as an infinite or even self-oscillating reverb with control over the pre-delay. You can use it as just a great, analog-voiced delay. You can use it a spring-ish style reverb. Or feed the reverb from the repeats of the delay, making each echo splash into the reverb.
